The Minister of Internal Affairs, Idris Naim Sahin's perplexing views on freedom

In the midst of discussions on freedom of expression and increasing number of random detentions, the Minister of Internal Affairs Idris Naim Sahin expresses perplexing views as to the definition of 'freedom': "What freedom are we talking about? If there is no freedom in this country why do people voice complaints when they are detained and arrested? If 'inside' and 'outside' of prison is the same, one shouldn't complain about the lack of freedom while in jail."
